Business Registration and incorporation under the one-stop company registration and business registration system require companies to notify the Registrar of their business information within one month of commencing operations in writing. This includes the business name, business description, nature of business, business address, and date of commencement. Companies can notify the Registrar by letter or by completing form IRBR200.
Change of Business Address
If you change your business address, you must notify the Business Registration Office in writing within one month of the change. Please clearly state your business registration number, business name, old and new business addresses, and the date of the change in the notification. You may also complete and submit form IRC 3111A. You may need to provide proof of address, such as a copy of your lease or recent utility bill.

Addition or Removal of Partners (not applicable to Limited Partnership Funds)
Any addition or removal of partners must be notified to the Business Registration Office within one month of the change. Notification must be made using form IRBR 64, signed by both the relevant incoming and existing partners, and a copy of the incoming partner's identification card or passport or business registration certificate (if the partner is a corporation) must be submitted. If the change in partners results in a change from sole proprietorship to partnership (or vice versa), the Business Registration Office will issue an updated business registration certificate after recording the change.
Change of Business Nature
You should notify the Business Registration Office in writing of any change in the nature of your business within 1 month of the change. The business registration number, name, address, details and date of the change should be stated. Alternatively, you may furnish the details on the form IRBR 193.
Submission of Notification.
You can either submit the notifications of change in person or by post. Please refer to Latest Arrangement for Counter Services of the Business Registration Office. In order to ensure the authenticity of the notifications received, we regret that submission by facsimile transmission is not acceptable.
Failure to submit notification on time
Any person who fails to submit notification shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine of $5,000 and to imprisonment for 1 year.
